One explanation says the ship was sunk by british mine. The other history claims that the ship was torpedoed and sunk on 6th June by the German submarine maybe U-559 or some other. Deckboy Alf Öster from Närpiö was killed. The other crew were rescued by British trawler NORTHERN REWARD to Faroes.
