1940.10.21: enroute Leningrad - Mäntyluoto loaded with salt late evening in the dark Sovjet submarine collided 8 nm east of Suursaari. Submarine found from the sea master, Ist engineer, a stoker and returned to Leningrad. The saved sailors were allowed to return to Finland after one month. In the collision two women and eight men were lost.
